If I purchase a credit card imprinter what do I do with the slip of paper after imprinting it?
Question: This would be fore my small business. do you send it to the company because how does it get charged to the account of the credit card holder?
Answer: Typically that slip of paper is for your customer and acts as proof of purchase for you as the merchant (in case of a chargeback situation) but you don't usually have to do anything with the paper except store as a record. Too process an order you will have to use your virtual terminal or phone it in for authorization. Days of submitting those carbon copy slips to your bank are long gone.
